Build Your Career
With Us

We're a small crew that does big work. If you take pride in your craft and show up ready to build, we want to hear from you.

Who We Are

Not Your Typical Contractor

Bell & Hammer was founded by Bryce Bell and Trayton Shelton in Kitsap County, Washington. We're a residential construction company that runs on communication, accountability, and craftsmanship — not excuses.

We keep our crew small on purpose. That means every person matters, every voice is heard, and every project gets the attention it deserves. You won't be a number here. You'll be on real job sites doing real work with people who give a damn.

If you're tired of disorganized crews, unclear expectations, or bosses who don't pick up a tool — this is the opposite of that.

Benefits

What We Offer

Competitive Pay

Fair wages based on skill and experience. We pay what the work is worth — no lowball games.

Growth Opportunity

Small company means more responsibility, faster. Step up and there's room to lead.

Respectful Culture

Clean sites, clear expectations, and a crew that treats each other and clients with respect.

Real Projects

Full remodels, additions, roofing, siding, decks — not just punch list work. You'll build things you're proud of.

Daily Variety

No two days look the same. Framing one week, tile the next, siding after that. You'll grow your skills fast.

Pacific Northwest Life

Work in Kitsap County surrounded by water, mountains, and trees. Commute past the Puget Sound, not a parking lot.

Open Roles

Who We're Looking For

  • Show up on time. Every day. No exceptions. Reliability is the foundation.
  • Take pride in your work. If it's not right, fix it. Don't walk away from it.
  • Communicate. If something's off, say so. We'd rather hear about it early than discover it late.
  • Be willing to learn. Whether you've got 20 years or 2, there's always something new on the next job.
  • Respect the team. Respect the client. Respect the site. That's non-negotiable.

Experienced Carpenter

3+ years residential framing, finishing, or remodel experience. Comfortable reading plans, running a crew, and working independently when needed.

General Laborer

Willing to work hard, learn fast, and take direction. Demo, cleanup, material handling, and support work. Great entry point into the trade.

Construction Worker

Some experience with tools and job sites. Comfortable with framing, siding, decking, or fencing. Ready to grow with a company that invests in its people.
